About Cleland Thom

Cleland is a trainer in web writing, proofreading, speed reading, time management and most spheres of written and verbal communication.

He has been a writer and journalist for 35 years and has been involved in training for 13 years.

He has an easy-going training style that relies heavily on humour and anecdotal experience. He is easy to listen to and makes complex issues sound simple and accessible.

Cleland runs a training organisation and has trained more than 2,000 people at over 250 businesses, charities, public bodies and websites over the past five years.

He holds the National Council for the Training of Journalists National Certificate, the Certificate in Education from La Sante Union, Southampton and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama Grade 8 qualifications in Public Speaking and Speech and Drama.
